Best Leveling spec for a wow paladin alt?

I'm wondering what the best possible way to spec for leveling a paladin twink would be at this point. I'm going to have the heirloom shoulders, chest, and 2H Axe for leveling. Are there any other heirlooms i should get? Do i bother enchanting heirloom items? I know i will be ret but I really want to know what the best talent point progression is for leveling.

Spec ret. Take def gear with you along the way and tank in ret. You don't need any prot talents, not even in heroic 5 mans, just get decent tank gear. SoCommand is great for AoE-tanking anyway (and with glyph you get nice mana return early) And yeah, tank with a 2hander. But keep a shield/onehander just in case there are areas with LARGE amount of mobs (blocking helps migitating the fast incoming damage)

Agreed and it won't hurt to get the whole Saronite Tanking Set crafted by blacksmith. It's dirt cheap and quite good.

I started leveling my pally again. He was at 63 already. I decided to go prot. I know ret would be faster but i wanted to tank instances along the way. I don't want to get 80 and start tanking and have no idea what I was doing. It is really good for soloing instances and huge groups, pretty slow vs. single target. If you go prot make sure you have a shield spike!
