Right, so obviously I love the KOTOR series, and as the title implies I'm not an MMO veteran. So I just have a few questions to those of you that are MMO veterans.

  1. For the price of one monthly fee, can you have multiple characters? Like can I have a guy who's a Jedi and another guy who's a merc without paying two monthly fees?
  2. Can I go on for, say, 1 hour a day and still be considered good?

Most mmo's will allow you to have 5-8 characters per server, as many servers as you want, for the same monthly fee.

Regarding your second question: It really depends, one hour a day for one hundred straight days, with one character, might not get you too far, as raiding, crafting, and exploring could take more time than your one hour limit suggests.

Reading the SWTOR Forums I got the impression that The Old Republic might be more casual user / solo player friendly than WoW for example. So you might get done more in the same time, because there's more you can do solo while still having a blast.
